Queensland is already up one zip in this year’s State of Origin series and now serial New South Wales nemesis Cameron Munster has dished out an off-field jab at Blues assistant coach and Immortal Andrew (Joey) Johns.
Munster was a guest on Nine’s Sunday Footy Show, alongside Queensland assistant coach Jonathan Thurston, ahead of Wednesday night’s game two in Brisbane.
Johns, who is reportedly not currently speaking to his brother Matty after an on-air radio fallout that has been the talk of the NRL, is a co-host of the show.
At the conclusion of the live TV interview with Munster and Thurston, the cheeky five-eighth couldn’t resist getting a pre-Origin sledge in at the New South Wales assistant.
“Joey, have you made up with your brother yet?” Munster said as he struggled not to break into a bout of the giggles.
Thurston and the show’s presenter Danika Mason were less disciplined as they burst into laughter. Thurston even gave Munster a fist bump in a clear sign of approval.

Andrew Johns did not offer a response to Cameron Munster’s question.
A camera change to reveal Johns’ stone-cold response showed the Newcastle Knights great did not see the funny side of Munster’s comment as the forecast quickly turned from funny to fiercely awkward.
It was initially unclear how serious the fallout was when the Johns brothers went to war on their SEN Radio show in mid-May.
With various roles in the media since their playing days ended, the Johns brothers have often been involved in the less serious side of the media on shows that are as much about comedy and skits as they are rugby league.
However, it’s now being widely reported in Australian media that the pair aren’t speaking with the fallout turning ugly.
Matty Johns said on a recent Daily Telegraph podcast that he understands his brother wants to “take my head off” the next time they see each other and Andrew Johns has reportedly quit the SEN station over their fallout on the Friday show they co-hosted.

Queensland’s Cameron Munster couldn’t resist a cheeky dig at New South Wales’ attack coach just days before State of Origin II.
Their squabble began when Matty Johns was praising Queensland coach Billy Slater and labelled him as “almost the best coach in the game”.
“Queensland know exactly how they’re going to play and who they need to pick to make that happen,” Matty Johns said ahead of Game I.
Andrew Johns, the Blues attack coach, took offence and snapped back with “and New South Wales don’t know how they’re going to play?” to which his brother replied: “No, they don’t”.
A then fuming Andrew Johns let loose on his brother.
“Put your Maroon jersey on, you should have some at home,” he said. “Just because you played four games and lost four doesn’t mean you need to s..t bag NSW.
“Mate, I’m sick of you rapping Queensland, that’s what I’m sick of.
“I’m sick of you (pumping up) Queensland. Keep blowing hot air up their a…s.”
It’s been reported by Yahoo News that SEN chief executive Craig Hutchison attempted to broker a peace deal with the Johns brothers, but it was unsuccessful.
Matty Johns has recently said he’s not heard from his brother since the on-air fallout.
On his radio show, he confirmed the brothers have had fallings out before where they have not talked for extended periods.
“The longest went for two years,” he said.
“That’s the way the cookie crumbles. The show must go on.”
