A crash took place on SH2 in Pukehina on Saturday night.
A person has died and two have been injured in a crash in Bay of Plenty.
Emergency services were called to SH2 in Pukehina at around 10.50pm on Saturday.
Police confirmed that two people were transported to hospital to be assessed for injuries.

A police spokesperson said the road would remain closed while a scene examination took place.
“There are detours in place that are suitable for heavy vehicles,” they said.
“An investigation into the crash is ongoing.”
