2-year-old Willow has gone missing from her home in Henderson – she was last seen playing in the garden with her sibling
A 2-year-old girl who went missing in West Auckland sparking a huge search by police and members of the public has been found alive.
Officers, family and hundreds of members of the public had been searching for Willow on Sunday, after the girl was last seen playing in the garden of her home in Henderson with her sibling.

Search and rescue, LandSAR and the police eagle helicopter had all been searching the area for the child, with police teams and the public also searching a nearby creek.
Earlier, local man Daniel said his kids were playing with Willow earlier in the day.
“My kids were playing with the little girl this morning, and, [I’m] coming back now to give the police some information on what happened … and they said that they’d seen her go down that long gravel driveway into her house and she didn’t come out, and that’s about it.”

Police had set up a van on Ascot Ave, which is one street down from Zodiac St.
He said it was about lunchtime to about 1pm.
“My kids play with her, they know her quite well. I just hope they find her,” he said.
