Police have made an arrest following Heriot Row firearms incident report.
A man has been arrested following a potential firearms incident in North Dunedin on Wednesday morning.
Around a dozen armed police officers had cordoned-off Heriot Row, in North Dunedin as they conducted their operation.
A police spokesperson said the cordon was put in place as a precaution.
Six armed police officers were seen walking to a flat up the hill, and a dog unit is outside the property.

Officers began arriving at the scene on Wednesday about 10.15am.
“Enquiries to establish the circumstances of the incident are ongoing,” the spokesperson said.
The same street was the subject of an AOS call-out earlier this year.
