ANZ will help families under financial pressure to pay for netball fees.

Families who “might be doing tough” will have access to ANZ’s $100,000 subsidy to pay for kids’ netball fees.

Applications have now opened for ANZ Netball Grants.

ANZ chief executive Antonia Watson said registration fees were a barrier for families under financial pressure.

“Sport is such an important part of a child’s wellbeing and we don’t want families who might be doing it tough to miss out.

“We hope this support helps remove that financial barrier and allows everyone to continue to enjoy netball this season,” she said.

Successful applicants – either parents, coaches or teachers – will have the team fee subsidy covering the cost of all its players.
