One person has been taken to hospital with moderate injuries as a result of the crash
A major West Auckland road has been blocked after a truck and a vehicle collide early on Monday morning, injuring one.
Police have blocked a section of Great North Rd between Henderson and New Lynn as a result of the crash, which happened just after 5am.
One person has been taken to hospital with moderate injuries, according to police.
“Diversions are in place, however motorists are advised to expect delays and to avoid the area where possible”, police said.
One lane remains open for traffic heading towards Henderson.
