An NZ Van Lines truck and ute have crashed on the corner of Bainfield and Fairweather roads and Mill Road North near Invercargill.
Diesel has spilled over an Invercargill road after a large truck and ute collided on Wednesday afternoon.
A firefighter on their day off discovered the collision at the intersection of Bainfield and Fairweather roads and Mill Road North just before 3.30pm, Fire and Emergency Southern shift manager Alex Norris said.
No one was trapped in the truck, which appeared to be from the moving company New Zealand Vans, or the ute, Norris said.

Firefighters were concerned the diesel spill would catch on fire.
Two fire trucks and a water tanker rushed to the scene, assisting the occupants of the vehicles with medical treatment, securing the site and assessing the diesel spill before police, ambulance and safety contactors arrived, he said.
A spokesman for St John said one ambulance and one rapid response vehicle was sent to the scene.
Three patients were assessed and treated at the scene with all minor injuries, he said. They did not require hospitalisation.
A police spokeswoman said the road was blocked for a short time.
