One person is in hospital with moderate injuries following a crash in Palmerston North on Saturday afternoon.
A police spokesperson said emergency services were called to the “two-car crash” on Tweed St around 2.55pm.
“One person appears to have sustained injuries,” the spokesperson said.
They confirmed the Serious Crash Unit was not called to the scene.
A Hato Hone St John spokesperson said one ambulance and one rapid response vehicle were sent to the scene.
”The ambulance crew treated one patient in moderate condition and transported them to Palmerston North Hospital,” the spokesperson said.
