A crash was blocking lanes on Auckland’s Northwestern Motorway on Thursday evening.
Traffic is crawling across Auckland’s motorways after a crash and a breakdown.
Northbound lanes of the southwestern motorway are blocked by two separate crashes.
Police were alerted at about 7.20pm on Thursday.
Emergency services are at the scene between the Massey Rd on-ramp and Coronation Rd off-ramp.
Motorists are advised to pass with care and continue to expect considerable delays in the area.
Earlier, a crash was blocking two lanes of the northwestern motorway, between Patiki Rd and Rosebank, at 4.45pm.
A breakdown was also blocking a northbound lane on the Harbour Bridge at 5.30pm.
Both crashes have since been cleared, but drivers have been warned to expect delays.

According to Waka Kotahi’s journey planner, drivers heading north on State Highway 1 and northwest on State Highway 16 can expect delays of half an hour.
A Fire and Emergency spokesperson said two fire trucks were sent to Northwestern Motorway.
”We attended to a crash involving two cars blocking two lanes of the motorway.”
A police spokesperson said no injuries were reported.
“Just delays expected with a couple of lanes blocked.”
