Two cars and a van were engulfed in flames in a work complex underground car park in Johnsonville, Wellington, on Wednesday afternoon.
A video of the scene shows the flaming van slowly rolling out of the underground car park while firefighters and trucks try to put it out.
Fire and Emergency New Zealand central shift manager Carlos Dempsey said two fire trucks and an aerial ladder arrived at the complex on Broderick Rd, at 12.50pm.
“The fire was extinguished pretty quickly,” he said.

Dempsey said the car park was checked once the fire was out and no issues had been found.
Police are currently on the scene and a fire investigator has been called despite Dempsey saying there is nothing to suggest it was suspicious.
“It does not appear anyone was injured,” a police spokesperson said.
