A household has been evacuated after a car crashed into their home, resulting in a gas leak.
Fire and emergency services responded to the crash on Otaika Rd in Woodhill, Whangārei at 9.11pm on Monday.
Fire and Emergency shift manager Josh Pennefather said concerns had been raised about a gas line after the crash.
“We have sent three fire trucks… and carried out a scene inspection,” Pennefather said.
A police spokesperson said it was a crash on private property, and there were no reports of injuries.
