We Will Rock You: Third time lucky, Act Three’s theatrical celebration of Queen’s biggest songs returns to The Regent on Broadway until August 19.

A Night For Lost Souls: Metal and rock at The Stomach in Palmerston North, featuring Flowers of Hades, Epidemic, ThunderFoot and Denial, from 8pm.

Promise & Promiscuity: Follow the fortunes of Miss Elspeth Slowtree, performed by Penny Ashton, at Centrepoint Theatre, Palmerston North. Running until August 13.

Calendar Girls: Comedy performed by Dannevirke Theatre Company, until August 12 at the Dannevirke Town Hall.

Repair Cafe: The fixers will be out in force at the Caladonian Hall in Feilding from 10am to 12.30pm. Bring your broken items, chat and mend, and learn new skills.

The Underbellies: Live at Snails Artist Run Space in Palmerston North, supported by Nic Mason and Shadowcaster. From 7.4pm, all ages gig.
