Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad will miss the Warriors’ NRL clash with the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville on Saturday.

The fullback, a prized recruit from the Canberra Raiders for this season, failed a HIA in last Saturday’s 20-12 loss against the Sydney Roosters and did not return to play after coming off in the 53rd minute.

Nicoll-Klokstad left the field after a collision with Roosters centre Joseph Suaali’i.

Second rower Jackson Ford, who played two minutes against the Roosters but suffered a head knock, will miss also the trip to Townsville after failing to come through the NRL’s concussion protocols.

Warriors: Taine Tuaupiki, Edward Kosi, Brayden Wiliame, Adam Pompey, Marcelo Montoya, Te Maire Martin, Shaun Johnson, Addin Fonua-Blake, Wayde Egan, Bunty Afoa, Mitchell Barnett, Marata Niukore, Tohu Harris (captain).
